Oudemirdum, April 22, 2010 Our vacation is almost over. Just one diaper day and tomorrow back to our Siamese in Nijmegen. But what a lovely relaxing week we have had. The tranquility and spaciousness of Friesland give a nice uitwaaigevoel. Been nice to Leeuwarden and Groningen and enjoyed the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum. We also visited a few times to the Mirnser cliff where you can enjoy the IJsselmeer beautiful. In the evening the great hearth after having spent wonderful ... in the sauna What more could you want on a vacation? For anyone that follows, we wish you a wonderful holiday and maybe we will come back again! Creative excesses

Oudemirdum, March 14, 2010 After 50 creative endeavors of the VDH we found it reason enough to celebrate with a relaxing weekend away. Friendship And what fits in well with better than a spa house? First Friday gekokkereld all together during a cooking workshop. Nice walk and sweat in the sauna. Saturday we drove to Hindeloopen through beautiful scenic route along the IJsselmeer (recommended). In the first Frisian skating museum pancakes eaten at the round table. And further uncomplicated enjoyed together. Delicious Huissie, laid among the trees with cheerful twittering birds. Oudemirdum, February 28, 2010 Thursday decided to leave. Weekend Friday we were lucky that the house was free and we were in the luxury! It was delicious. Sauna, hot tub, sauna, and again in the hottub. Very nice home for fantastic refuel. The kids thought it was blissful. We can go for a while and will definitely come back. Lifeguard Keimke

What we had a great weekend in this lovely villa. Enjoyed the sauna, fine bench with wood stove which creates a lot of fun and the sauna! The setting is gorgeous! How nice that you're in the woods with a few steps. Yesterday we had dinner at Lifeguard Keimke in Balk. Highly recommended! Recommendations in the area in the culinary field: - Lifeguard Keimpke in bar is a fun and delicious restaurant with stunning views over the Slotermeer - Cook & NY Sneek is also very nice. Fun for the kids

Beautiful area for cycling and we enjoyed ourselves very well in the Hege Gerzen and Sybrands Speelpark with the kids. Just back from Hindeloopen. Definitely worth a sniff around.
